Ministry Field Update from Angie Auzana-Tud, Ministry Enrichment Department Trainer
We just came from Intentional Moves Discipleship Training for church leaders in Surigao del Sur. We thank God for the wonderful opportunity to be a part of what God is doing in their lives and churches.
When the time came for me to discuss ICI’s tracts, a man raised his hands and said that he was saved through ICI’s “Especially for You” tracts.
I would like to share his story with you:
His name is Pastor Bert L. Digaum. In 1985, he worked as a manager of Mercury Drugstore in Butuan City. Someone gave him a copy of the “Especially for You” tracts, but he did not read it and put it away in his attaché case.
After a year, he needed to get an important document from that very same attaché case and found the tract still there. He finally read it and found every word speaking powerfully to him. He ended up tearfully following the Sinner’s Prayer and finally felt peace and a change inside of him. He went on to enroll in ICI’s Great Questions of Life correspondence course.
From the point on, his spiritual journey began. Now, he is the senior pastor of Magsaysay Assemblies of God church in Tagbina, Surigao. He attended the Intentional Moves Training and is excited to disciple his church through the Intentional Moves discipleship framework.
