A ‘castle keep’ is usually where the king resides. This year’s SVBS offers fun and engaging Bible lessons for children of all ages! Even with a small staff, you can run a single class with one or two helpers. In this mixed-age setting, older children can learn alongside younger ones, all discovering valuable Bible truths together. Through these lessons, kids will come to understand the love of our King-Dad.
o Wonderfun Insights: This is the lesson’s main point—an insight worth remembering.
o King’s Word: Nothing is as important in today’s lesson as the Bible passage where valuable truth is derived. Important verses to be memorized are featured in this section.
o Into the King’s Chamber: This is where you will see the list of the worksheets and visuals you will need for the day's lesson. You'll also discover the day's curriculum, where our Prince and Princess will engage with Bible stories and learn about the true nature of our King-Dad.
A new feature of My Father’s Joy Kingdom is the "Sad Kid's Story" section, offering updated insights into the real-life experiences of today's children. Your King's Messengers can use this resource to enrich their storytelling or draw upon it as a reference when sharing the story.
o Huddle Chamber: Kids learn a lot when they interact with fellow kids. During this segment, the children will evaluate inputs as they dialogue and discuss with other learners.
o Tea Time: This is a time for snacks.
o Courtyard Fun: This is where kids play and have fun. We carefully consider games that will reinforce the day's lesson.
o Art Craft Tower: Throughout the five-day SVBS, kids will work on a single project called My Father’s Joy Castle. There is also the Forgiveness Funwheel which serves to highlight the teachings about forgiveness. Just like with other lesson components, you and your team get to decide how to break down the project tasks.
Great Ha-Ha-Ha-Hall: As the kids gather again in the large group, they will share the exciting things they learn in their group’s King-Dad’s Keep with kids from other age groups. This will also help them learn from each other and become better friends.
